Tatton Park Biennial 2012: 'Flights of fancy'

The Tatton Park Biennial is on until the end of September, we went over the weekend and having never been to the Park before we were amazed by how beautiful and eccentric the place is! The Japanese garden featuring Olivier Grossetetes balloon bridge was the highlight, along with the maze, kitchen garden and a mini caravn ride into outer space! The gardens would have been enough to keep us entertained it was like walking through a fairytale woodland complete with Giant Rhubarb, scarecrows and follys. (one used to be home to a hermit who was employed to scare visitors! )

Tatton Park is near Manchester, just off the M6, turn left at the UFO.
